Hormones have specific effects on the female runner. Findings are varied but there is general consensus that oestrogen, progesterone and cortisol affect breathing, bone density, body temperature, muscle strength, the cardiovascular system and metabolism.
This course will give every woman a deeper understanding what is going on in the body and show you how, often quite simply, you can adapt your training programme to get major health benefits, improved performance with less chance of overtraining and injury.
